In his own words:

‘I take inspiration from everyday life and 1950’s pulp art, I have thousands of books.

I am fascinated by nostalgia and the past, so much so that my daily driver is a 1973 VW camper van.

The idea for a piece can come from a conversation, one I have been part of, or overheard, a piece of music, an image, fashion, a quote, or even a news story.

I begin by sketching a rough concept, at this stage I am thinking colour, emotion, and impact.

My pieces centred on a hero image, I create original acrylic artwork on canvas, and combine this with vintage imagery using collage, and mixed media.

I am fascinated by making each piece look vintage, creating the wear and tear of decades of handling.

I want my work to be instantly relatable to viewers, as if they are viewing something that hits the nail on the head, and has them thinking that’s so me!

I began creating my first collection in 2009, and look forward to sharing my work with a new audience.’
