This original metal wall art by Paul Marshall is created on an aluminium base, which is first worked to create patterns to softly bounce the ambient light in your room. Next several layers of colour pigments, resins and precious metal leaf are added. The final topcoat of rough poured and worked water-clear resin adds movement, layers and a glossy finish to the piece.
Backed with a black 40mm deep "sub frame", this floats the artwork away from your wall creating a subtle shadow.
Each piece is hand made so each one is slightly different and unique to you. The colours used are the same, the patterns created are unique.
You can customise this piece to your requirements, either size, shape, colours. A single piece can be made upto 1.8 x 3M, or spread across multiple panels to fill your wall. Please contact us to discuss.
Paul has been in the art business for over 30 years and now specializes in both metal and resin wall art. Lockdown was the ideal opportunity to spend time in the studio, in York, UK, refining techniques and creating new designs. Inspiration comes from his love of being in, on, or around water bringing flowing symmetrical designs.
Weight wise this metal wall art is perfectly safe to hang on any style of wall, with the correct wall fixings. 40 x 150cm weighs 6Kg, 75 x 190cm weighs 14Kgs. Delivered with hangers fitted.
