Creation is a striking handcrafted resin wall art piece designed to become the focal point of your home. layers of rich black resin, shimmering gold mica's and luxurious textures catch the light throughout the day, bringing warmth, depth and sophistication to contemporary interiors.
Each piece is individually handcrafted in our Yorkshire workshop by Paul Marshall, blending several techniques to create this stunning and totally unique centre piece.
The resin base is poured first using the highest grade "water clear" resin. Into this, acrylics, inks, pigments, and metallic mica's are added to create this stunning effect. Smooth rounded edges like a mobile phone ooze elegance and sophistication.
After this the wave form is added using crushed, hand coloured, recycled glass, metallic inks and clear resins.
This artwork has an aluminium base for strength and rigidity, backed with a 30mm carrier frame, which invisibly "floats" the artwork away from your wall creating a subtle shadow.
Every piece of artwork is handcrafted and so will differ slightly from the photographs, making each one different and unique to you. The colourway will be the same as the images shown, and the pattern in the resin is as unique as your finger print.
You can totally customise this piece to your requirements, either size, shape, colours. Custom sizing for an individual piece can go upto 1.8 x 3M. Please contact us to discuss the options.
Despite the luxurious, textured finish, this artwork weighs no more than a comparable-sized mirror. Depending on size, pieces typically weigh between 7kg and 16kg and arrive ready to hang with fittings attached. Most installations require only two standard screws or picture hooks appropriate to your wall type.

Paul has been in the art business for over 30 years and now specializes in both metal and resin wall art. Lockdown was the ideal opportunity to spend time in the studio refining techniques and creating new designs. Inspiration comes from his love of being in, on, or around water, bringing flowing symmetrical designs.

Yes, everything we make comes ready to hang, no specialist tools required.
No special fixings are required. Despite its luxurious, textured finish, the artwork weighs no more than a comparable sized mirror. Each piece arrives ready to hang with fittings already attached and can typically be hung securely using suitable picture hooks or screws appropriate to your wall type.
As each piece is handmade especially for you, production usually takes 2-3 working days before being carefully packaged and dispatched on a 24 hour premium service.

The ideal size depends on both your wall and the furniture beneath it. As a general guide, your artwork should span around 60-75% of the width of a sofa, sideboard or bed to create a balanced, designer look. If you're unsure, we're happy to help you choose the perfect size-simply send us a photo and the approximate wall measurements, and we'll provide a personalised recommendation.
